A Little History:
Steve and Richard
began playing together in 1962 when they were 11 years old and have been
playing together off and on (mostly on) since then. Starting their musical
careers together at such a young age allowed them to grow up with the same
musical tastes and interests.
They Started playing "celler dances" at the YMCA in
West Chester when they were in junior high school, playing mostly motown and
R&B dance music.
1966
In the 70’s, they got together with George and through the70's, 80's, and
90's the three went on to play clubs, weddings, and other venues around the
Philadelphia area.
1982
Bombu Wali is the culmination of these three talented
musician’s careers where they bring all of their musical and performing
influences together in an extraordinary experience for their listeners. The
combination works well with polished bass, articulate guitar, bright
percussion, tight harmony vocals, and an engaging stage presence. Since
forming Bombu Wali several years ago, the trio has played for weddings,
private dinners, festivals and other special occasions, such as holiday
gatherings and private parties. |
