Island Guitar is Richard Plunkett on solo guitar and vocals. Richard specializes in vocal and instrumental finger style guitar performances for restaurants, weddings, cocktail hours, bar/bat Mitzvahs, engagement parties and other special occasions.

With over 40 years of musical experience, Richard can tailor his set list for almost any occasion including vocals and up-tempo numbers. Richard provides a contemporary twist on the traditional acoustic coffeehouse set and jazz cocktail set. In addition to the traditional repertoire, Richard plays contemporary arrangements including Island Music, Jazz Standards, Brazilian, Latin, Smooth Jazz and pop. Island Guitar has something for everyone. When Richard is not performing instrumental at wedding receptions and private parties, you might just find him at your local pub/restaurant.
